Coney Island Film Festival 2006
Coney Island Film Festival 2006
The Coney Island Film Festival screened Creating Karma on October 8 to a sold out, packed house. The turnout was so large for Creating Karma that the film outsold all other films and events at the festival! The Q&A was a lot of fun as were all the other fantastic films, sideshow and burlesque in-house performers, and Coney Island itself graced us with a beautiful day on the boardwalk. Dick Zigun, head of Coney Island USA, the non-profit organization that has done so much to re-invigorate Coney Island that this festival benefits, did us the great honor of presenting the film.

Karen Lynn Gorney and Andrew McCann at fest. (Andrew has two songs in film, one he sings, and appears as the subletting, evil blind guy in Creating Karma.) Originally from Manchester, England, Andrew has also recently collaborated on writing songs with chanteuse Karen Lynn.
